BHive Boards was founded by husband and wife Tony and Beth Bradshaw with a simple idea: create exceptional, handcrafted cutting boards for the kitchen while using the business to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Every BHive Board is handcrafted with care. Every piece of wood is carefully selected. Every board is designed to be beautiful, functional, and made to last.
And 10% of our profits are dedicated to helping fight human trafficking through organizations working to bring hope, healing, freedom, and a better future to women and girls.

OUR STORY
It Started With a Snow Day
The story of BHive Boards began on January 14, 2024. A snow and ice storm hit Nashville, Tennessee, shutting down the city and keeping our family of eight trapped at home.
Tony is the son of a carpenter, so working with wood has always been part of his story. Beth had spent years watching woodworking videos on YouTube, fascinated by the craftsmanship and creativity involved in turning pieces of wood into something beautiful and useful.
With nowhere to go and a day at home, we decided to head down to our woodshop and make something.
We weren't trying to start a business. We simply wanted to make something together.
By the end of the day, we had created our first cutting board — a board we made for our own kitchen. We loved it. And then something unexpected happened.
FROM ONE BOARD TO A BUSINESS
Tony took that first cutting board to his men's group and showed it to the guys. Someone wanted one. That became our first order.
Not long after, our neighbor became our second customer — and she didn't want just any cutting board. She commissioned a completely custom set: a 3-inch-thick, 12" x 24" board, along with matching 1.25" x 12" x 12" and 1.25" x 12" x 18" boards.
From there, word began to spread. Beth started creating custom end-grain cutting boards for friends — including several of her soccer-mom friends. One board became another. One customer became another.
And what started as something we made together in our woodshop began to become something much bigger.
BHive Boards was born.

We don't believe a cutting board should be something you use for a few years and throw away. A beautiful cutting board can become part of your kitchen. It can be where you prepare Sunday dinner.
Where you chop vegetables for your family. Where friends gather around the island. Where recipes are passed down. Where memories are made. That's why we take our craftsmanship seriously.
We carefully select quality hardwoods and thoughtfully design each board for beauty, durability, and everyday use.
Our boards are built to be knife-friendly, durable, naturally beautiful, and made for years of use.

Wood offers a beautiful, natural alternative to plastic cutting boards. While plastic boards can develop deep knife grooves over time, quality hardwood boards can be properly cared for, maintained, sanded, and refinished — allowing them to remain a part of your kitchen for years rather than becoming disposable.
Wood is also a natural, renewable material, giving you an alternative to petroleum-based plastic products.
And when it comes to finishing our boards, we keep it simple. Every BHive Board is finished with our all-natural blend of beeswax, linseed oil, and lemon essential oil. No petroleum-based finishes. No unnecessary synthetic coatings.
Just carefully selected ingredients designed to nourish and protect the wood while preserving the natural beauty of each board.

We've learned that some of the best things in life are created when two people bring their different strengths together.

Tony brings a lifelong connection to woodworking through his father, who was a carpenter, along with decades of experience building businesses, leading organizations, and helping entrepreneurs create businesses with purpose.
What began as a project on a snowy Nashville day has become something we get to build together.

Hope Ranch for Women provides support, restoration, and hope for women who have experienced sexual exploitation and trafficking.
Their work helps women move toward healing, independence, and a new future. We are honored to support organizations doing this important work. Because behind every statistic is a person.
FROM OUR SHOP TO TELEVISION
In the spring of 2026, another unexpected opportunity came our way. Beth received a call from her good friend Gigi Butler, founder of Gigi's Cupcakes, about her new television show, In the Kitchen with Gigi.
Gigi was creating a show centered around food, conversation, faith, and the stories that happen around the kitchen. It was a natural fit.
A partnership was formed, and BHive Boards became the inaugural sponsor of In the Kitchen with Gigi, featured on the Christian Television Network (CTN).
For us, it was an incredible full-circle moment. What started with one cutting board made together during a Nashville snowstorm had found its way into kitchens — and onto television.
And while we're proud of how far we've come, we're even more excited about where we're going. Because the story of BHive Boards is still being written.
